School Kits Sports Connection Solar Light

School Kits for Kajiji Schools

Our goal is to send 200-300 school kits to Congo in 2009-2010. It is our hope that these school kits will launch a cottage industry in Congo providing a use for used jeans/fabric, income for women and families, and school bags for students.

If you would like to donate, please purchase the following items:

4 pencils (#2)	4 Folders	4 spiral notebooks
1 large eraser	1 plastic compass	1 24-pack of Crayola colored pencils
2 highlighters	1 pencil sharpener	1 glue stick
4 pens	1 plastic ruler	1 pair of scissors

The total cost of providing supplies for one school kit is estimated at about $15. You can donate money to support this project or donate old jeans, which are used to make the school bags.

Sports Connection

Peacebuilding through Sports Project

Mama Makeka House of Hope is receiving sporting goods to be shipped to the Democratic Republic of Congo to be distributed to Schools and Junior Sport Clubs.

Our Dream

We are committed to promoting peace and reconciliation through sports in D. R. Congo after several years of brutal war and conflict.

We are accepting soccer balls, basketballs, volleyballs, handballs, new or used sport shoes , jerseys, and funds for shipping cost (not included yet are baseballs or American footballs).

Solar Flashlights for Rural Communities Project

Our dream is to distribute 1,000 BoGo solar flashlights in the next three years to doctors, nurses, families with school age children, teachers, and community development workers in rural Democratic Republic of Congo.
